My family and I tried out the new Red Robin down at the Landing on Thursday. The service and food were great, and the restaurant has a very comfortable family atmosphere.
The Landing is coming along very well overall, with construction happening all up and down our new city streets. I was amazed by how much bigger the development seems, now that the stores and restaurants are going in. If you have not visited or driven by recently, you should take a peek next time you are in the area (east of the Renton Boeing plant).
The whole project is going to be beautiful when it is complete.
Landing sign
Finally! Something graffiti taggers might actually ENHANCE with their scrawlings.
I think I know where the graphic artist who designed Pontiac’s Aztek SUV got hired.
Re: Landing sign

Twenty years from now, we’ll look at the Landing and say “Brick Facades and non-structural steel……. that’s soooooo 2008….. ewe”

Re: Greek…
Steak???
Renton’s got that covered in spades with the Melrose:

That’s the place that I take people when I want to impress them with how far Renton has come in the last few years.
Can’t wait…
i can’t wait to head to the new Red Robin once I’ve reached my “goal weight.” Of course, even then, I must commit myself to getting one of RR’s “lite” menu items, and not taking advantage of the bottomless fries basket.
The menu at Daphne’s looks delicious, too.
Yep, while I’m not a fan overall of chains, the (smaller than most) Red Robin in The Landing does seem to have great service so far.
