This morning we visited the Kishi house, named after the banker that built the home in 1912. It gave a great overview of how homes were built here 100 years ago.
While there, we were also treated to some heavenly music on a Koto, (a Japanese harp), and some beautiful dancing by two different dance teams.
Cathy also tried out a working loom. I learned some new things about Japanese gardens and about home construction in Japan.
