Greetings,
We are looking to open a fish market in The Landing, a new urban development in
the heart of Renton. Our vision is to offer the freshest seafood and
friendliest service around. In order to accomplish this we need your feedback.
Please, take minute to complete this survey.
Thanks in advance,
The Leckers Fish Market Team.

Be Careful . . . .
Not to be cynical, but if you google Leckers there’s no such business, nor do the Department of Revenue or Secretary of State have it as a registered tradename or registered business. I’m not saying it’s not legit, but there’s nothing to say it is legit, either.
Could be phishing.
Re: Be Careful . . . .
The survey is short and sweet – there’s no way they could glean anything useful about you. All the questions were geared to help them open or not-open a seafood store.
The don’t ask for your name, address and only offer a place for putting you email if you’d like to.
I understand being pessimistic, but it really was a short survey with questions about seafood stores.

Could be phishing. Get it? Phishing!
I made a punny.
Nobody gets me.
Stick it right next to Trader Joe’s…
Randy, any way that Council can pass a resolution begging TJ’s to open a store at the Landing?
I second that!
Please Please a Trader Joes
The drive to Issaquah is tiresome.
As long as they don’t set up shop right below the new apartments (peeyoo!), I wish them luck and hope they succeed. I’m not much of a seafood eater, but maybe having a local source for fresh fish will encourage me to diversify my diet (mmm.. mercury!).

Short of offering to pay Trader Joe’s rent for a year, I’m not sure how much more could be done to convince TJ’s to open a store at The Landing. It’s hard to imagine how they could *not* succeed there, but perhaps it’s just too risky a venture for them right now, or maybe they’re fixated on demographic data. But who knows, maybe that “surprise announcement” later this year (alluded to in a recent Renton Reporter article) will concern TJs.
businesses I’d like to see at the Landing
…before a fish market…
Dick’s Drive-In hamburgers
Wing Dome
ANY grocery store
Ben & Jerry’s
Whole Foods or PCC
Eddie Bauer outlet
REI
Cabella’s
Re: businesses I’d like to see at the Landing
Cabella’s — funny. I don’t think there are enough parking spots in all of Renton to handle that store!
PCC is an interesting idea, although it’d be disastrous for Green Fresh, I’d reckon. Maybe a QFC instead.
Fish Market
A fish market with fresh seafoods sounds like a wonderful idea. Healthy fish, a variety, and seafood experts behind the counter sounds like a fun place to shop. Yes, we would like to see a fish market at The Landing.
