I like those. Do the older drain covers say Renton on them?
No…the old ones just say “water” and “sewer”
I like these new ones too. They really don’t cost that much more, and they have so much more character.
Do they stay bolted down so the “meth heads” won’t snag them?

Anyways those are really neat. I see the history in these.. 60 years from now can you imagine ..
They sell them for scrap. Damn tweekers get all hopped up and steal just about any metal not nailed down and then sell it to scrap dealers.

‘Plastic’ Manhole Covers
Randy,
Here’s a company that’s selling high-strength ‘plastic’ manhole covers. If Renton is having a rash of stolen manhole covers like other municipalities are this may be an option. Being from the Aerospace industry – you’d probable appreciate the material.
