where’s the Landing “Space Needle” going?
Bob Baker promised at a Kennydale Neighborhood Assn meeting in 2006 that there would be a huge tower art piece in the center of the vast parking area. Hopefully that wasn’t scrapped from the plans.
I voted for a trader joes to be there, I hope they put one in.
Greek Food
Looks like Renton will have Greek Food. Being on the retsina!
Of course the list has Starbucks listed – the only question is how many Starbucks we’ll get 😉
Re: Greek Food
Yes, the plan does still call for a tower….called “the landing tower”. Its 80 ft tall and is kinda looks like the space needle to me. Its pretty tall and located more near the LA-fitness. Im intersted in what the market street will look like…ive seen some designs but am not sure…it looks cool though. I had a list of conceptual stores at the landing about 6 months ago….quite a LONG list….and Im beginning to think that list wasnt false concidering everyone so far has been announced as tenants…but we shall see…its quite the lineup of stores.
I just can’t wait for Home Depot to confirm yay….. really now another hardware store.
home depot
I dont believe they were planning on having another home improvement store.
