Election Day
Most of us at City Hall will be thrilled just to have the whole thing done with. Of course we are praying earnestly the Kathy loses but it is in the voters’ hands now!
366 days until we elect a new President…
Hooray
New Mayor, New Day in Renton
I desparately pray that we elect a new mayor of Renton tomorrow. I have been truly inspired by the number of public servants–firefighers and the police–who have pulled behind Denis Law and his campaign and are working feverishly to get him elected. That should say A LOT to Renton voters, folks. I firmly believe that Mayor Keolker has created so much unrest, contempt and diviseness that she can no longer work with the leadership of this community and that Denis is the person that will foster collaboration and communication.
God Bless, Denis, Marcie, Don P, King. You are the future of Renton!
Re: New Mayor, New Day in Renton
God wow thats a little much
1. Thank God it’s almost over.
2. Gee, all of these campaign signs will make great garden stakes next year!
3. 365 days until Election Day 2008.
4. Hoping the voters choose the right people for the job to carry our city out of its current state of acrimony and forward to a brave new future!
Greg too, Sorry!!
……….and GREG TOO!
Denis Law for Mayor – please vote Tuesday
Denis Law will serve as our mayor with honesty and integrity. Denis Law has the leadership skills, management experiences, and open communications our city needs. He is well respected for his collaboration efforts with community leaders, city staff, neighborhoods, and businesses. Denis is genuinely interested in what’s best for Renton.
Thank you Denis for stepping up at this time when thousands of citizens know that Renton needs a change in the mayor’s office. Any voters who may still be undecided, please consider what many others have determined – expect more from our mayor’s office. Elect Denis Law!
Renton Gets National
Renton is big news on The Daily Kos website. (10/21 Anti-Gay Stealth Candidate) Thank you, Renton Citizen, for paying attention. See you all at the victory party tomorrow night. “Mayor Denis” – Yeah!
Re: Renton Gets National
I think you all know how I feel about the possibility of Cheryl Haskins winning a seat on the council, so I won’t go on about it.
Thank you, Randy, for providing the community with this forum, and for shedding light on what’s been going on at City Hall (even if it has been through your eyes — but no one’s stopping others from doing their own blogs).
Best of luck to all the non-polarizing, locally-funded, and community-oriented candidates!
Greg too, Sorry!!
……….and GREG TOO!
I am voting Dennis Law but I am very worried he is going to lose this election. Do to the fact that he really hasn’t stated how he is going to do what he said he is going to do. So if he does lose i will not be surprised but hope he will run again, but in that time be more prepared.
Thank you for voting for Denis Law
I too am voting for Denis Law and would like to give the previous poster a different prospective. I don’t think it is appropriate or even realistic for candidates to make promises or tell us what they alone are going to do. In fact, when I hear candidate promises I simply ignore them anyway because they can’t get anything done if they aren’t able to first listen and collaborate with other local elected leaders, with staff, citizens, etc. It is much more important that a candiates have the skills needed to do the job. Denis has so many more skills than Kathy – he is the right choice and I’m glad we agree to vote for Denis!
Re: Thank you for voting for Denis Law
I know I agree thats what I was saying to many promises with no course.
