Ongoing Investigation – Disappearance of Kathy Chou
On 7/9/11 at approximately 9 p.m. human remains were recovered in the area indicated by the suspect. They have been released to the Medical Examiner’s Office and are believed to be the remains of Kathy Chou, who was reported missing on April 18, 2010. An autopsy and identification confirmation via dental records is pending. Several search warrants have been served in this case, and the investigation continues.
The suspect in this case, Ezekiel Watkins, is expected to appear in court in Seattle today. Charges have not yet been filed on a second subject, who is believed to have assisted in the burying of the remains.
