Doggapalooza at The Landing in Renton
Doggapalooza is the signature event for The Landing’s “Dog Days of Summer” event series
The dog and kid-friendly event will feature tenant promotions and give-aways, face painting, balloon animals, animal adoption services, a dog/owner lookalike contest, celebrity judges, raffle to win a one-night stay at Seattle’s Pan Pacific Hotel (with your pooch!) and much, much more
Free and open to the public
Hundreds of Renton’s friends and furry companions will converge on The Landing for Doggapalooza which features free fun for the family. Sponsored by The Landing, Doggapalooza will collect donations on behalf of and help raise money and pet food for the King County Humane Society.

Featuring celebrity judges including Bender from the Jackie and Bender Morning Show on 106.1 KISS FM, Brandie Ahlgren, editor of City Dog Magazine and Renton City Councilmember Randy Corman.
One winner will be selected from each of the following three categories: Dog/owner lookalike, opposites attract and kid/dog lookalike. Prizes for the winner of each category include PetSmart gift cards and a one year subscription to City Dog Magazine.

TENANT GIVE-AWAYS & PROMOTIONS: |
Doggapalooza is hosting a raffle with proceeds to benefit the King County Humane Society. Tickets, priced at $1 will feature great prizes including: · One night stay with special “Fido-friendly” package at the exclusive Pan Pacific Hotel in South Lake Union & complete set of luggage (valued at $400) from The Savvy Traveler · Gift certificates provided by participating Landing retailers and restaurants including seven $36 gift cards from Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Participating tenants at The Landing will provide give-aways and samples in their stores and host special in-store promotions, including water bowls and dog treats at numerous retailers, free dog leashes from Poggi Bonsi and a signature drink, the “mint-mango lassie,” from Caffe Felice.

KID FRIENDLY ACTIVITIES:

Airbrush face painters and balloon animal artists will be present on site during the event to entertain kids of all ages.

CANINE-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY PARTNERS:

Renton’s Unleashed Furry Friends (RUFF), Greyhound Pets of Greater Northwest and The King County Humane Society among others will be on site with informational materials, give-aways and staff to answer any questions.
