Letter from Perkins Coie, representing Renton Shoreline Coalition

Debate over the Renton Shoreline Master Program is continuing. We had more testimony from three citizens (two attorneys representing river-front properties and and one lakeside property owner) at our Monday Council Meeting. Yesterday, the city staff released a “Frequently Asked Questions” issue paper to try to address some of the concerns (Covered in my previous post.) Today City Council received the following email and letter from the law firm of Perkins Coie, representing waterfront property owners who have formed into the “Renton Shoreline Coalition”.

Dear Councilmember Briere,

Thank you for the opportunity to address the Committee on behalf of the Renton Shoreline Coalition. In the interest of time, I am emailing you a copy of a letter that addresses some important issues and asks specific questions that staff may wish to address.

I look forward to the meeting on the 24th.
