Written by We enjoyed great food, gifts, and formal greetings tonight at the lovely Dochnahl residence, as we celebrated the Nishiwaki Delegation’s visit to Renton. We also talked about past visits, plans for the rest of the visit, and simply caught up with old friends.
Mayor Kishi from Nishiwaki delivered a warm and gracious speech in English, which he explained he had prepared on the plane ride over here. Denis Law and I spoke briefly on behalf of the city; the rest of the party was informal and just friends having fun.
