You can see from the maps whether you are affected by this pilot program or not (You also would have been advised by mail, and you will recieve new garbage cans if you are affected). If you are affected, you can use this page as a resource for calendars and information. If you are not directly affected, then your garbage service will continue as it always has, but you may still find it interesting to read through this and give the city feedback on whether any of the proposed pilot changes sound good or bad to you.

Well it has been two weeks since the August 6, 2007 council meeting where it seamed to be a agreement to add a link to the Renton Web page directing the tax paying citizen to the New Pilot Program for two areas of Renton that have been picked to participate in this program with no say. When and if this link is added to the Renton Web page there also should be a sound off link where every comment is posted so the Renton citizens can see the whole picture. Its kind of funny that the only council members who are responding to this issue are ones that are not up for election.
