Written by My son Kenny and his girlfriend Anastasia put together a fun slideshow for my 46th birthday party (which was today.) They did a really nice job digging through many old photos, without letting me have a clue that they were working on this.

The video was very telling, what I didn’t see in the background: Fancy cards, expensive TV’s, lots of new furniture, or expensive clothing.
What I did see: A loving family having fun and joy.
My age group could learn a lot from this: Too many of my peers are more concerned with the latest cars, and not in raising their children. Or even having children – they ‘get in the way.’
Whatever you’re doing – keep at it! It’s working! 😉
