Another scorcher today. Exactly how hot was it in Renton today?

It was so hot in Renton that Maplewood Golf course was warning golfers to watch out for scorpions and rattle snakes.

It was so hot in Renton that we are thinking about adding Reykjavik, Iceland to our sister city program, and then organizing an eighty-thousand-person delegation to go there

It was so hot in Renton my wife and I are looking to trade our horse in for a camel.

It was so hot in Renton that some people were considering trying to hasten the damage at the Howard Hanson Dam

It was so hot in Renton that European travel guides listed the Dairy Queen on 4th street as a more interesting attraction than Jimi Hendrix burial site.

It was so hot in Renton we had to keep closing down the Renton Airport to clear away the tumbleweeds

It was so hot in Renton that even the creepiest customers at the phony tanning salon decided all they wanted was an ice water and a tan.
