Happy Birthday Renton!

This is also an appropriate time to look back on Renton’s Centenial celebration five years ago: We had a ceremony and fireworks in Liberty Park on September 6 after a great summer of partying!

Tragically, the happy mood came to an abrupt end 5 days later with the 9/11 terror attack.

We will not let any lunatic terrorists spoil the mood on our 105th birthday…so Rock-on Renton! And thank you to William Renton and the visionary founders that incorporated our great city, back on September 6, 1901.
